New Google Maps App gets easier

GLOBAL, July 19, 2013- iPhone and iPad users experienced the improved Google Maps App after Google launched the new version of the app for Android smartphones and tablets.

The new app that has been used globally for location references has enhanced its research search and navigation features, including the first dedicated iPad mapping experience. Google assured that iPhone and iPad users will find it easier to explore new places, discover local favorites and beyond.

The application includes an optimized iPad experience where users can have a detailed Street View using a wider screen. Moreover, users can get live incident reports on road closures, construction and accidents. It also it has a voice guided, turn-by-turn navigation, and live traffic conditions right on the map. For bike enthusiasts, there is a voice-guided navigation for more than 330,000 miles of trails, paths and bike lanes around the world.

Google Maps made sure that users could explore faster and easier by simply tapping the search box to locate local places to eat, drink, shop, play, and sleep.  There’s a new 5.0 star rating system that gives you a quick read on how your friends and others rate places like restaurants, bars, and cafes.  The Zagat badge are integrated into search results.

The new Google Maps that is now rolling out globally in Google Play will be available soon in the App Store.
