McCann Worldgroup creates South East Asia & Australasia Creative Council

ASIA-PACIFIC – JULY 15, 2011 – McCann Worldgroup has formed the South East Asia & Australasia Creative Council co-chaired by executive creative directors Ean Hwa Huang and Szu Lee (pictured) of McCann Worldgroup Malaysia.

Hwa and Szu will be tasked with forming a collective of respected and highly rewarded creative leaders from across Worldgroup’s SEA & Australasia region, helping to embed a group-wide focus on creativity with a particular focus on training and talent identification, both key challenges for the industry.

Speaking about the council, Szu said,“Forming a council a smart way to draw on the strength of the Worldgroup network, making sure that we originate and share the very best ideas. This new creative council will present an opportunity for us to work together on real live integrated briefs and pitches across geographies, across disciplines, reflecting the very real benefit of the McCann Worldgroup’s collaborative approach.”

“The advertising industry is changing in no small part due to digital velocity we see in many parts of the world. If any agency is to prosper in this environment they need to adapt and for us this means utilizing the very best of what the Worldgroup companies can offer – ideas, activation, digital and collaboration,” added Hwa.
