Pioneers in 3D video mapping in the Philippines, Grupo Lumina will hold their first exhibit themed ’Prepare to feast Feast your Your Senses.‘ It will feature actual demonstrations and sample projects using digital technology such as 3D mapping on various surfaces, motion control, hologram, airscan and digital graffiti.
Grupo Lumina is the first Philippine- based company that executes 3D mapping, Stereoscopic 3D, projection mapping in buildings or other 3D surface, Virtual Tracking, Virtual Augmented Reality, 3D Sound, Air touch technology & 3D Animation Graphics for live events and staging.
In 2011, Grupo Lumina introduced a projection science that can wrap and contour images, shows, or presentations onto any surface-bottles, cars, and even entire facades of buildings.
The company is a partnership between Optima Digital and Unitel Productions’ Tony Gloria and Video Sonic Corporate Communications’ Mart Miranda. Together, they brought the technology from Cologne, Germany to the Philippines. It has started to turn heads in the Metro, especially after the much-hyped projection mapping during the opening of Kobe Bryant’s Take Every Advantage Tour 2011 in Manila.
