Fernleaf, Havas Malaysia modernizes a Malaysian classic with new ‘Ibu’ campaign

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA – Fernleaf has partnered with Havas Malaysia to modernize the beloved “Ibu” song – a nostalgic melody from its 1989 commercial that captured the hearts of Malaysians – in its latest Full Cream Milk campaign. By reimagining this timeless tune, the brand bridges its rich heritage with a meaningful connection to modern mothers.

Originally inspired by the legendary Malaysian artiste P. Ramlee’s song “Ibu” (Mother), the refreshed rendition blends contemporary arrangements with the classic lyrics Malaysians hold dear. Brought to life through a heartwarming film, the campaign evokes warmth, nostalgia, and a renewed connection with a brand that has grown alongside Malaysian mothers across generations.

Launching this month on TV and digital platforms, the campaign repositions Fernleaf not just as a source of nutrition, but as a trusted companion in every mother’s journey. Fernleaf is more than just milk – it’s a ritual of love, passed down.
