KFC Thailand brings new year blessings to the table with Fortune Bucket

BANGKOK, THAILAND — KFC Thailand, the number one fried chicken brand, is welcoming 2026 with a special New Year treat designed to bring good fortune to customers nationwide. The Fortune Bucket campaign delivers happiness and delicious flavor paired with blessings for the year ahead, featuring collectible bags with four lucky messages.

To create an auspicious start to the year, KFC held a traditional blessing ceremony led by Ajarn Karn Musikaboonlert (Ajarn PoobPub) from Siamphithee. The campaign also features amulet expert M Haththep in a new film that brings Thai beliefs around good luck charms to life. Customers can receive a complimentary Fortune Bucket bag with any participating bucket purchase starting from 199 baht at KFC restaurants nationwide (except Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi Airport branches) from now until January 28, 2026.

The new year is when many people hope to start fresh with good fortune and auspicious blessings. KFC Thailand created the Fortune Bucket campaign from insights into Thai beliefs around good auspices—especially the tradition of seeking lucky charms at the start of the year. To activate this insight, KFC hosted a traditional blessing ceremony led by Ajarn PoobPub, with KFC team members joining in prayers to infuse the Fortune Bucket bags with positive energy. The ceremony blessed wealth, health, love, and success—helping fans start the year strong with great taste and good luck in every aspect of life.

KFC Thailand extended this insight into Thai fortune beliefs through a new commercial featuring M Haththep, a well-known figure in Thailand’s amulet community. The film showcases his signature calm, serious-yet-humorous amulet inspection style, referencing familiar scenes from his viral content before revealing the real lucky charm: KFC’s Fortune Bucket bag — a collectible fortune item for fans.
