Love wins as Minola celebrates all kinds of love this Valentine’s

MANILA – The Minola brand of premium coconut cooking oil has just launched new television advertising less than a week before Valentine’s Day that builds upon its existing campaign with the slogan “For healthier relationships” and takes it to bold new direction. In contrast to the tongue-in-cheek humor of its December 2016 TV ‘When your husband can be the sexiest..’ that shows a husband looking much more handsome than he really is—through the rose-tinted lens of a wife swooning over his cooking, ‘Gusto’ provides an endearing image of modern love by showing a man walk past playboys with many girls straight to his home to enjoy a home cooked meal with his faithful partner—another man.

The video posted online declares, “Ngayong buwan ng pag-ibig, let us celebrate all kinds of Love <3 . Loyalty, faithfulness, fidelity… traits so easily kept when one is truly in love,” and has the hashtags #HealthierAngRelationships #MinolaCelebratesTheHeart #MinolaNewVideoGusto. As with Minola’s previous advertisment, ‘Gusto’ highlights coconut oil’s naturally high content of Lauric Oil, which has been shown to beneficial in lowering cholesterol and killing harmful pathogens.

The creative team was composed of 28DC executive creative director Nonon del Carmen, art director Pepper Corpuz, and director Jun Carangan of Brew Productions.
