HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM – How do you make artificial intelligence feel human? That’s the question Orès Collective set out to answer with AIgorithm, a bold new initiative launched in Ho Chi Minh City just before the weekend. Far from a tech showcase, AIgorithm is a living lab, a fluid, collaborative experiment where creativity and machine intelligence collide, converse, and co-create. Developed across Orès’ creative hubs in France and Asia, the project brings together over 30 international artists and technologists in an exploration of AI not as a novelty, but as an actual creative partner.
The project featured visual installations, live performances, interactive and generative works. The audience experienced an immersive journey where each station challenges our relationship with creativity in the era of emerging technologies.

“We wanted to create a space that breaks the myths and fears around AI, to concretely show what it enables when put at the service of creation. Not a theoretical speech, but an experience to live, see, hear, and feel” explains Pierre-Étienne, Director of Orès Asia.
Aside from the installation, Algorithm includes as part of its reach:
– Free workshops will be held at several Vietnamese universities, in partnership with Hailuo AI, to introduce students to generative AI tools.
– The exhibition will be presented at the French Tech Summit, then at the De La Sol gallery at the end of June, before traveling to Shanghai and Paris.
– Finally, a multi-episode documentary, UNSCRIPTED, will reveal the behind-the-scenes of the project, tracing the concrete integration of AI at every stage of the creative process.

With AIgorithm, Orès is doing more than exploring the intersection of AI and art but fostering a collaborative partnership.
