MANILA, PHILIPPINES – In a city where celebrations hinge on experience as much as taste, Kauri Taproom provides a unique night for couples, friends, and kindred spirits to indulge in a Valentine’s Day journey that blends world flavors, Filipino ingenuity, and craft mastery. This February 14, 2026, Kauri presents a limited-edition menu curated by its extraordinary creative collective — each a master in their own craft yet united by a shared vision of elevated comfort and meaningful connection.
At the helm of the culinary narrative are Chef King Estolano, Chef Trish Ignacio, and Chef Justin Garcia. Side by side with them are Dea Suyosa, head brewer and founder whose vision for Kauri turns beer into cultural craft, weaving local ingredients into poetic craft beers and cocktails.

Together, they’ve created a Valentine’s experience that feels both intimate and adventurous — where every dish, beer, and cocktail is an expression of connection.
A Menu Written in Flavor and Feeling
Culinary Expressions by Chefs King, Trish & Justin
For this special evening, the three chefs have collaborated to craft a five-course dinner that traverses familiar favorites and reimagined classics:

Each course is meticulously designed to be shared — a quiet invitation to linger at the table, and in each other’s company.
Craft Beer by Maria Dea Suyosa: Pouring Stories Into Every Glass
Valentine’s Day at Kauri wouldn’t be complete without the signature craft beer program from Dea Suyosa, whose vision for Jade’s Temple Brewery and Kauri Taproom has always revolved around connection and celebrations.

For the evening, Dea introduces two limited brews:
- Apple Cinnamon: Warm notes of baked apple and gentle spice with a smooth, lightly sweet finish. Comforting, inviting, and perfect for easing into the evening. Baked apple warmth, soft spice, and a smooth, comforting finish.
- Tsokolate Stout: Silky and rich with hints of tablea and roasted malt, finishing long and smooth. An indulgent pour made for lingering nights. Silky dark malt with chocolate notes and a long, indulgent finish.
Dea shares, “beer for Valentine’s isn’t just about the pour — it’s about the mood it creates. These brews are meant to be shared, to start conversations and elevate the emotional memory of the evening.
Cocktails by Kauri: “Pasalubong”
Standing behind the bar is Celtrick Sante & Zedric Del Mundo, whose philosophy marries place with feeling. Their Valentine’s Day lineup is both romantic and rooted in Filipino sensibilities, featuring thoughtfully sourced local ingredients:
- Amore: Citrusy, Sweet & Fruity
- Peanut Kisses: This stirred & sprit-forward cocktail will make you reminisce your favorite childhood “pasalubong” that you bring home from the province
- Golden Sangria: Semi-sweet, fruity, zesty aroma featuring local brand, Vino Arsan.
“Valentine’s is about chemistry,” Celtrick says with a smile. “I want every sip to feel personal — vibrant, warm, and perfectly tailored to the story of someone’s night.”
A Night of Memory and Meaning
At Kauri Taproom, Valentine’s Day becomes an invitation — to savor thoughtfully composed dishes, to discover new craft brews and cocktails, and to connect with the people who matter most. It is a place where the expertise of chefs and craftsmen converges into an experience that feels both luxurious and authentic.
In the words of Maria Dea Suyosa: “We didn’t just create a menu — we created a mood. One that celebrates connection, curiosity, and the joy of sharing something beautifully made.”
This Valentine’s Day, Kauri Taproom offers more than a dinner. It offers a memory waiting to be tasted.
