MANILA, MAY 22, 2013 – Globe Telecom has announced that it is working with field operation support system provider Nasctech to boost its network quality and improve the efficiency of its field operations, and, by so doing, improve the experience of Globe subscribers.
More specifically, Globe will use Nasctech’s Streamline solution, which is a field operating support system that confers a strong degree of visibility and control over field operation management, and which can also help implementing companies enjoy reduction in operating expenses – up to 10 percent, says Nasctech.
Streamline allows implementers to properly integrate field operations with both the back end and the network operations center, allowing said implementers to undertake preventive maintenance and more adroitly deal with network concerns. Streamline incorporates capabilities that combine realtime views of field operations with management tools.
Globe is to implement Streamline beginning July.
