DMAP Sari-Sari DYC 2025 unites young creatives in advertising, marketing, and digital media

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Digital Marketing Association of the Philippines (DMAP) is once again placing the spotlight on the country’s rising creative talents with the return of the Digital Young Creators (DYC) Bootcamp & Competition, happening on September 19 at the Ayala Museum.

“This year, we’re making it even bigger and better,” says DMAP DYC Co-Chair Cams Sta. Ana. “One bootcamp, two stages, two competitions. Which means there are more chances for our young creators to shine on the world stage.”

The 2025 edition introduces two competition tracks, tailored to different creative age groups:

Sponsor
  • DYC x Young Lotus – Open to creatives aged 30 and below. Winners will represent the Philippines at the Young Lotus Workshop 2026 in ADFEST, Pattaya, Thailand.
  • DYC x Young Innova – Open to creatives aged 31 to 40. Winners will fly to the SXSW 2026 Festival in Austin, Texas as DMAP’s representatives.

“This year’s theme is Sari-Sari,” says Raymund Sison, Co-Chair of DMAP DYC 2025. “It’s the ultimate showcase of young digital talents. It celebrates creation in all its forms – a melting pot of diverse ideas,  innovations, culture, and all kinds of digital makers. In a bootcamp that features that country’s top creatives, innovators, and creators.”

The competitions are open to a wide spectrum of young professionals, from copywriters, designers, art directors, and technologists to community managers, programmers, UX specialists, digital producers, account managers, strategists, and data analysts. Freelancers, in-house creatives, and those working across agencies, tech firms, content studios, and brands are all encouraged to join.

Winners will not only represent the Philippines on the global stage but will also undergo exclusive mentorship from the nation’s top creative and digital leaders.

This year’s program highlights a stellar roster of speakers and mentors, including:

  • Raxenne Maniquiz, one of the country’s leading graphic designers and illustrators
  • Jann Pascua, art director of Vogue Philippines
  • Abi Marquez, content creator and “Lumpia Queen”
  • Raco Ruiz, content creator and visual artist
  • Antoinette Jadaone, box-office director and co-founder of Project 8 Projects
  • Carl Chavez, director and founder of Lunchbox
  • Merlee Jayme, chairmom and founder of Jayme HQ and The Misfits Camp

“SARI-SARI DYC 2025 is a celebration of Filipino creativity. Expect this year to be like a sari-sari store: filled to the brim with diverse ideas and innovations from the country’s top and emerging creatives. More than the competitions, we’re looking forward to being the launchpad for creatives to experience global exposure and recognition. This is an exciting opportunity for Filipinos to make their mark on the international stage,” says Dale Lopez, DMP DYC’s director for creative.

Registration is now open for aspiring participants. The regular deadline for entries is September 12, 2025, with an extended deadline until September 15 (with applicable late fees).
