MANILA – Original Pinoy Music (OPM) fans can get first dibs to see their favorite Pinoy music icons live as Coca-Cola and Twitter collaborate to launch unique activities for Coke Studio. The first of its kind in the Philippines, Coke Studio (#CokeStudioPH) is a weekly TV show that brings an exciting and fresh take in creating OPM.

Twitter unveiled a customized emoji with the hashtag, #CokeStudioPH, so that fans can brighten up their Tweets while they cheer for their favorite musicians.

“Coca-Cola and Twitter both share a similar commitment that is to engage, inspire and unite youth with meaningful conversations of what is happening. Coke Studio utilizes music as an instrument of unity, a universal language that creates an emotional connection that is beyond just words. On the other hand, teens spend quite a significant time on social media everyday – from watching videos, listening to music, discussing, sharing content or even creating their own. We need to be a part of that, to continually encourage them to express themselves and be open to others. Working with Twitter will enable us to achieve just that,” said Stephan Czypionka – Vice President for Marketing, Coca-Cola Philippines.
