GLOBAL, JANUARY 2011 – With two million check-ins and 25,000 new users per day, Foursquare now boasts six million registered users. It has released an infographic boasting of its 3400 percent growth in 2010. Also according to the infographic, the biggest event that people have checked in to is The Rally to Restore Sanity with 30,525 check-ins from Washington DC.

Foursquare hit the five million user mark last December, and it took a mere month and a half in to get another another million users. Interestingly, Facebook’s Places feature, a competitor to Foursquare, is barely a step up to Foursquare’s stats.
