Campaigns Davao re-brands following Grey Group acquisition

THE PHILIPPINES – DAVAO, OCTOBER 17, 2012 – Campaigns & Grey, one of the top ten advertising agencies in the country, is rebranding its Davao office formerly known as ‘Campaigns Davao’ to ‘Campaigns & Grey Davao’ after global advertising network, Grey Group acquired a majority stake in Campaigns & Grey. This move is set to strengthen the group’s presence in the growing market of Mindanao. It also allows the agency to tap into Grey Group’s brand communication tools and practices to offer even more ground-breaking integrated marketing solutions for its clients.

To launch the re-branding, Campaigns & Grey Davao will hold a private exhibit and sale of fine art by renowned artists from all over the country. Proceeds of the sale will help fund the agency’s student awards program, which aims to reward Davao City’s most talented graduating advertising and fine arts students.

“This is our nod to creativity, which is vital in the advertising industry, and is no less important in many other fields,” shared Zen E. Pastoriza, Managing Director of Campaigns & Grey Cebu and Davao.

Support for the agency’s cause poured not just from Davao artists but from Manila, Cebu, and as far as Zamboanga, with contributions from Philippine National Artist awardee, Arturo Luz; advertising veteran-turned-sculptor, Gil Corcuera; fashion designer, James Reyes; filmmaker, Cholo Laurel; up-and-coming painter, Peck Imson, Philippine Star columnist, Barbara Gonzales; veteran Cebuano artists, Sio Montera, Gabriel Abellana and Jorge Lao; internationally renowned designer, Ann Pamintuan, PWC Davao Fine Arts Program Director, Brenda Barba; fashion designer, Emi Englis; multi-awarded Davao artists, Joel Geolamen, Rodney Yap, Glen Baga and Jun Pamisa and prolific Zamboangeño artist, Jojo Martinez.
