THE PHILPPINES – Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena has announced its Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines (SMP) esports roadmap for the first half of 2026, outlining a robust calendar of events spanning across grassroots tournaments, regional showcases, and global qualification stages.
Built to support players at every stage of their journey, the roadmap broadens opportunities for both teams and individuals across Multiplayer (MP) and Battle Royale (BR) modes. This includes more avenues for BR players, reinforcing Garena’s ongoing focus on building an inclusive and sustainable esports ecosystem across the region.
Road to the world stage
The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship (CODMWC) returns in 2026, running across five stages from May to November. The SMP region will be represented in Stage 3 through Garena Masters 11, before advancing to Garena’s annual regional qualifier in August, where only two teams will earn spots at the offline World Championship Finals later in the year:
- Stage 1: Local Solo Qualifier
May 2026 - Stage 2: Local Team Qualifier
June 2026 - Stage 3: Garena Masters 11
July 2026 - Stage 4: Garena’s Annual Regional Qualifier
August 2026 - Stage 5: CODMWC Finals
November 2026
In 2025, both qualifying teams came from the Philippines, with Elevate PuK and Stalwart Esports finishing as world runner-up and third place, respectively.
Regional and community competitions
Across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, Garena will continue to support the competitive scene through a mix of regional and grassroots initiatives, including the Garena Masters, held twice a year, and Community Gladiators, Garena’s flagship BR-focused grassroots series, returning with a $10,000 USD prize pool in the first season. Community Gladiators features approachable formats, including 1v1 matches, offering amateur players a more accessible starting point on their competitive journey.

Building on strong SMP performances in recent Global Qualifiers, Garena will continue to invest in regional talent development across Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines in 2026. As part of this broader effort, the Philippines will feature several market-specific initiatives aimed at supporting and engaging the community, including the Garena Elite Philippines (GEP) and the return of monthly CODM Tayo events.
Having consistently connected with players through CODM Tayo events over the years, Garena will further expand the program this year by increasing its frequency and scale, while bringing events to more accessible locations such as city-center malls alongside continued barangay activations. These events will serve as dedicated offline spaces for the fans and players to gather, offering opportunities to interact with creators, influencers, and clans, as well as participate in mini-tournaments and interactive in-game activities.
Further details, including host cities and event highlights, will be announced in the coming months.
With a packed calendar and clearer progression from grassroots play to global competition, Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena’s 2026 SMP esports roadmap sets the stage for another year of regional talent development and high-level competition.
More details on upcoming tournaments and registration will be shared through the official Call of Duty: Mobile – Garena channels: Facebook, Facebook (PH), Instagram, YouTube, TikTok.
