MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Geeks on a Beach (GOAB), the Philippines’ flagship international tech and startup conference, is doubling down on the future of artificial intelligence with the launch of new AI-focused tracks designed to move beyond hype and into real-world applications. Scheduled for October 1–3, 2025, at JPark Island Resort, Mactan, Cebu, GOAB 2025 aims to equip founders, executives, and technology teams with practical strategies to harness AI for growth, efficiency, and innovation.
“Today, every company is turning into an AI company, but many are unsure of how to begin,” said Tina Amper, the lead organizer of GOAB. “With our new tracks, we aim to provide founders, executives, and tech teams with a clear and actionable roadmap for leveraging AI to create real business impact—enhancing operations, increasing revenue, and upskilling their workforce.”
The three-day event will open with a series of masterclasses tailored to two distinct audiences: technology professionals and business teams.
For tech teams, Cleo Credo of Full Scale will lead a session on building AI solutions using Gemini and Google Cloud, while Carl Angelo Orale of Ticketnation will introduce practical playbooks that deliver measurable business outcomes. Raven Duran of Symph.co will further explore strategies for AI-augmented software development.
Meanwhile, business leaders, marketers, and startup founders will gain insights from Mohan Belani, Co-founder and CEO of Singapore’s e27; Eli Harrell and Gladys Palarca, Co-founders of Emerge.ph; and Robert Cristobal of NxtStory Studios, California. Their sessions will cover AI-driven branding, communications strategies, and leadership in an AI-first world
On October 2, AI technology leader Tim Santos will headline a workshop titled “Zero to Strategy: Building Your AI Roadmap.” With over 16 years of experience spanning AI, MLOps, and data science, Santos brings expertise in bridging research and enterprise adoption across industries such as banking and telecommunications.
The workshop is designed to help decision-makers identify opportunities within their organizations and translate them into actionable use cases. Participants will be guided in drafting personalized AI roadmaps for the next 30, 60, and 90 days. Santos will also present findings from the Philippine AI Report Survey, offering a data-driven perspective on local adoption trends and emerging opportunities.
