The biggest Filipino retailer in the U.S., Seafood City, grants its account to Blue Bottle Inc..
According to Mio Chongson, Blue Bottle managing director, “We got Seafood City account. It’s the biggest Filipino retailer in the U.S.” The supermarket chain has 17 branches in the West Coast.
Seafood City said the pitch was between Blue Bottle and DDB Phils. However, Gil Chua, DDB Phils. group president and chief executive officer denies having been asked to pitch.
