Oh, that enigmatic age! Adeline Chew of Malaysia and Guy Dayan of Israel, both aged 27, will compete in the 2009 Cannes Young Lions Film competition as Team YouTube. Chew and Dayan out-viraled nearly 700 entries, with largely interactive videos.
The YouTube contest enticed thousands of entries and 100,000 pairs of eyeballs, including many from the Philippines. The Cannes Lion roars its approval, and so does Oxfam, the beneficiary charity.
