MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The Quezon City Film Commission (QCFC), in partnership with the QCinema International Film Festival, proudly announces the launch of the first-ever Quezon City Film Market (QCFM) — a new industry platform designed to connect Quezon City’s leading film and media companies with international partners and opportunities.
Set to take place on November 18–19, 2025, at the Monet Ballroom, Novotel Manila Araneta City, QCFM will feature fifteen carefully selected exhibitors from Quezon City’s vibrant film ecosystem, alongside international partners from the QCinema Project Market (QPM).
Running from 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., the two-day market will be open to QCinema Industry badge holders and registered day-pass guests, offering a dynamic space for networking, showcasing services, and developing global collaborations.
The QCFM is envisioned as a content and services marketplace — a city-led initiative modeled after global industry platforms such as the American Film Market and the Busan Asian Film Market.
Participating companies will represent the diverse sectors that power Quezon City’s film and creative industries, including production, post-production, equipment rental, distribution, and technical services.
The market will also welcome QPM’s international partners and award sponsors, including CMB Film Services Inc. (Philippines), Kongchak Pictures Ltd. (Cambodia), Barebones Inc. (Philippines), Pop Up Films (France), Mocha Chai Laboratories (Singapore), Kingyo Productions (Taiwan) and Terminal Six Post (Philippines).
Executive Director of the Quezon City Film Commission and Managing Director of QCinema Industry Liza Diño said, “The Quezon City Film Market is a statement of global readiness. ”We’re showcasing that Quezon City companies can compete globally and that our creative ecosystem is equipped to serve both local and international productions. This is the beginning of building a Southeast Asian Film Market right here in the Philippines.”
The open call for exhibitors is now live, inviting Quezon City–based production, post-production, equipment rental and creative service companies to apply for one of the 15 available slots.
To ensure a curated and professional marketplace, QCFM will prioritize companies that are internationally active or capable of servicing global clients and co-productions.
Each selected exhibitor will receive a dedicated booth and inclusion in the Official QCFM Catalog.
Participation includes a PHP5,000 fee covering booth setup, signage, catalog listing, and access to QCinema Industry networking events.
Applications are open until October 23, 2025, via this link.
From Quezon City to the world
The launch of the Quezon City Film Market underscores Quezon City’s position as the film capital of the Philippines and a leading contender for UNESCO Creative City of Film designation.
“This initiative extends beyond exhibition,” added Liza. “It’s about empowerment — giving our local companies the visibility and confidence to engage with global networks, distributors, and producers. The QCFM is where Quezon City connects to the world.”
With plans to expand into a regional Southeast Asian Film Market in the coming years, QCFM sets the groundwork for a new era of city-driven creative diplomacy powered by collaboration, innovation, and a shared vision for international co-production.
