10 Films to Launch First Southeast Asian Film Financing Project Market

SINGAPORE- Organized by the Southeast Asian Audio-Visual Association (SAAVA), Reed Exhibitions and the Ties That Bind, the inaugural edition of the Southeast Asian Film Financing (SAFF) Project Market has selected its lineup of 10 feature length films from a promising pool of 148 projects from 23 different countries.

The Southeast Asian Film Financing (SAFF) Project Market is a new feature of ScreenSingapore which will be held in co-location with Asia TV Forum & Market at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre from December 1 – 4, 2015. The diverse selection of projects includes feature-length documentaries and animation projects, as well as live-action fiction projects from established and emerging filmmakers from the region.

The selected projects will be matched with and introduced to media financiers, distributors, programmers, and notable co-producers from all over the world and will stand a chance to win prizes sponsored by G2D, G-Technology® , RED Digital Cinema and Silver Media Group. This year’s projects come from Singapore, Malaysia, France, Bhutan, Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar. The full list of selected projects and applicants are as follows:
