Aspac-DAN and GLOBE win gold Stevie® in 2017 International Business Awards

MANILA – Aspac-DAN’s “1st World Internet PH” campaign for Globe gets the gold Stevie® for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Issues Management at The 14th Annual International Business Awards. The International Business Awards (IBA), “the world’s premier business awards,” were created to honor achievements and positive contributions of organizations worldwide. The formal awarding ceremony will be held on the 21st of October 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

Developed by the Dentsu Aegis Network agency together with the Corporate Communications Group of Globe, the “1st World Internet PH” digital and PR campaign addressed the permitting challenges in local government units that impacted telco infrastructure roll-outs nationwide. As the Filipino public demand for improved telco services, they were largely unaware of the ongoing industry challenges. The campaign brought to public the “behind-closed-doors issues” and simultaneously turned a problem into an opportunity for Local Government Units to display vision and leadership for their constituents. Also part of the strategy was to appeal to the people’s collective desire for national progress.

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated on 12 juries.
