CANNES, France – BBDO Guerrero Creative Chairman David Gurerrero is one of the speaker panel at the 66th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Titled The New Creative Capitals, the session is slated on Tuesday 18, 15:15 – 15:45 (30min) at the Audi A, Palais I.

Together with the Art Director and CEO of Forsman & Bodenfors, Silla Levin and Executive Creative Director of BETC Sao Paulo, the session will answer “How to tap into your distinct culture and community to push your creativity to the next level and convey a unique perspective?”

With globalisation, the biggest cities aren’t the ones coming up with new ideas and telling people what’s cool anymore. There is a new wave of creativity that’s coming out of emerging markets – those entrenched in their local cultures and communities, and with their finger of the pulse of what people want.

In this session, hear from creatives from around the globe using their local neighborhoods as breeding grounds for creativity — leaning into distinct environments, art and music to bring a resonance and distinct personality to their story telling.
