Carlos Anuncibay joins jury of 2014 Kyoorius Advertising Awards

Executive Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Sri Lanka, Carlos Anuncibay, has been selected to serve on the jury of the 2014 Kyoorius Advertising Awards to be held in association with world-renowned creative body, D&AD from May 13 to 15 in Mumbai, India.
 
The Kyoorius Advertising Awards are now in their second year and “recognise, honour and award the most outstanding creative work in the Indian visual communications sphere”. The awards structure is unlike any other advertising competition, awarding only the best work with no winning tier structure of Gold, Silver or Bronze. Several communication mediums that feature work from a range of different categories will be judged with the highest of standards.
 
Kyoorius and D&AD have worked closely to select a specialist jury that comprises of top creatives from across the world. Anuncibay is the only member of the jury from Sri Lanka and will join an international panel consisting of jury foreman, Rosie Arnold, Deputy Executive Creative Director at BBH, Neil Dawson, Partner at Dawson Pickering, Abhijit Avasthi, National Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather, Agnello Dias, Chairman and Co-Founder of Taproot India, Graham Kelly, Regional Executive Creative Director at Isobar, Senthil Kumar, National Creative Director at JWET, Sonal Dabral, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of the DDB Mudra Group and Woon Siew Hoh, Regional Executive Creative Director at Hakuhodo.
 
Anuncibay has previously served on the jury of D&AD in the UK and as both President of the Advertising Press Awards Jury in Spain and President of the Outdoor Advertising Awards in Ireland. He began his career as an art director at Saatchi & Saatchi London in the early 90s and since then, has been the brains behind many pieces of globally-acclaimed work for brands such as British Airways, Samsung as well as the famous Silk Cut campaign that earned him one gold and three silver Cannes Lions.
