Dave Trott, chairman of The Gate London, will be resigning from his role in November. Trott will continue to work within the industry, Tim Lindsay, non-executive worldwide chairman of The Gate Worldwide told The Drum.
In 2011, The Gate London merged with CST Advertising, which Trott helped found. Trott is also the founder of GGT and Bainsfair Sharkey Trott.
Winner of the 2004 D&AD President’s Award, Trott is considered a legend in the UK advertising industry. “He’s left a really good legacy,” The Drum quoted Lindsay.
Trott is also the author of Predatory Thinking: A masterclass in out-thinking the competition and Creative Mischief, a collection from his blog.
