The Managing Director SEA of Twitter, Arvinder Gujral came here in the Philippines for the Day 2 of DigiCon 2018: Experience Extraordinary on October 4, 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.
Twitter is still the best place to see what’s happening in the world and talk about it, especially through premium video. Twitter now unveils premium live-stream and in-stream video content deals at the DigiCon 2018, including major collaborations with ABS-CBN and GMA Network; and martial arts organizations ONE Championship, to advertisers in Philippines.

Attendees at DigiCon were introduced to the different ways marketers can “be what’s happening” on Twitter, starting with live and in-stream video content partnerships available to advertisers in the Philippines and the region.
In addition to the partnerships, Twitter also announced the launch of In-stream video ads. Design to unlock incremental revenue for top publishers who want to monetize their videos on Twitter, while making it easier for advertisers to reach influential audiences and align with great content.
An overview of the top trending content and conversations from Twitter were revealed as well during the event. The Global Web Index showed that Filipinos are more into entertainment topics with top interests in movies and music. That is why it is no surprise that entertainment hashtags dominated the Top 10 hashtags list in the Philippines. Also, since the Filipino community delves into teleseryes, love teams KPop, Twitter became a portal to reach and connect them to their favorite celebrities.
