MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Carmen’s Best, the beloved Filipino dairy brand known for its premium ice cream, kicks off 2025 with an exciting new chapter: the launch of its fresh milk line. With this bold move, Carmen’s Best is set to elevate the local dairy scene, offering a fresh taste of quality that’s 100% local.
Hosted at The Fifth at Rockwell, the event celebrated the joy of fresh dairy with a theme that speaks directly to the brand’s philosophy: “Fresh is Best. From Moo to You.” From industry partners and media to influencers and dairy aficionados, over 250 guests gathered to experience Carmen’s Best’s trademark #NoShortcuts promise in every glass.


Headlined by TV host and podcaster Joyce Pring, the event spotlighted Carmen’s Best’s newest lineup of fresh milk variants: Whole Milk, Low Fat Milk, Chocolate Milk, Salted Caramel Milk, and Barista Fresh Milk—each crafted with the same commitment to excellence that has made the brand a household name.


Toby Gatchalian, Chief Commercial Officer of Metro Pacific Agro Ventures (MPAV) and Carmen’s Best, opened the event with a heartfelt message about the brand’s mission: “At Carmen’s Best, we stay true to our roots. Fresh milk is the soul of everything we create, from our iconic ice cream to this exciting new milk line. It’s all about giving Filipinos nothing less than the freshest, highest-quality dairy products.”
In a comment to adobo magazine, Gatchalian also emphasized that Filipinos should be able to get the same quality dairy as found in other countries and that MPAV were dedicated to bringing that through the acquisition of Universal Harvesters Dairy Farm Inc. & the soon to open state of the art Metro Pacific Dairy Farms. This is part of their concerted efforts to meet demand by boosting supply and local innovation.
The event emphasized the versatility and quality of Carmen’s Best milk, featuring a fully featured Milk Bar offering the milk on its own or combined into decadent milkshakes using their trademark ice cream. Tan Lopez, barista from El Union was also on hand to give a live latte art demonstration featuring locally sourced coffee to emphasize the versatility of the milk product.
