Havas Worldwide promotes Levent Guenes to COO, Southeast Asia

SINGAPORE – Havas Worldwide, a leading integrated marketing communications agency, has announced the promotion of Levent Guenes to Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Southeast Asia, to lead the practices across the region. In his enlarged role, he will continue to manage the finance operations and report to André Pinto, EVP Acquisitions and CFO Asia Pacific; for the operational management of the Havas Worldwide offices across the region he will report to Juan Rocamora, Chairman of Havas Worldwide Asia Pacific. The promotion takes effect immediately.

Guenes is an industry veteran but moreover, he has a hybrid talent as he manages the Havas Worldwide finance function with strong business acumen. A good leader and twelve years with the Havas Worldwide network, Guenes brings a wealth of experience and a solid track record in leading and developing teams across the region. His numerous assignments across Asia Pacific and Central Europe have allowed him to gain in-depth understanding of markets, making him a strong asset as a COO for Havas Worldwide Southeast Asia.

“Levent has been an important driver behind several aspects of the Havas Worldwide business in Asia Pacific – strong and sustained growth in Japan during his role there, and since early 2011, a dynamic and business savvy CFO for Havas Worldwide Southeast Asia,” said Juan Rocamora. “It is a well-deserved promotion, and I believe he will play a pivotal role in continuing to work with our experienced regional leaders as we further expand our footprint in Southeast Asia with a team of experts across strategic planning, creative excellence, account management, and business development.”
