Wittenberger has worked with a series of media shops such as CIA and OMD Austria and Universal McCann. He was until recently managing director of OMD Slovakia, a post he has held since 2009 and which saw him focus on digital media, and innovation and creativity in the strategic process.

Through the course of his career, he has worked with over 30 clients across all major categories – including Pepsi, Shell, Nissan, Sony, McDonald’s, Hasbro, Johnson & Johnson, HP, Tesco, Henkel, Reebok and more.

“Gerald is joining us at a time when Mindshare is preparing for its next set of expansion plans in Malaysia on the back of new media and new consumer behaviors, especially through our recently launched proprietary process, Adaptive Marketing,” said Menon.

Wittenberger added: “My objective will be to build on a strong network, fantastic teamwork and their enthusiasm to embrace and initiate change. With an increased focus on digital innovation, integrated solutions and outstanding ideas we will strive to deliver even greater value to our clients’ marketing efforts.”
