Leo Burnett Singapore appoints Kirby Koh and Wan Shafie to lead digital & TV production units

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, FEBRUARY 22, 2013 – Leo Burnett Group Singapore has appointed Kirby Koh to executive producer-digital and Wan Shafie to executive producer-film. Reporting directly to operations and content director, Steve Rushbrook, the appointments will see Koh and Shafie heading up the digital production and TV production units, both of which, form part of the integrated production services for the agency.

Koh has accumulated 13 years of experience working in digital technology across Singapore and China. Prior to Leo Burnett, he was the director of technology and project management at MRM Worldwide in Singapore.  His client portfolio included General Motors, Exxon Mobil Asia, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Intel.
 
Before that, Koh was with DraftFCB in China, where he designed CRM solutions, developed digital strategies, managed production for corporate websites, designed B2B programs with CMS, worked on offline data collection and integration, WAP mobile sites and performance tracking, just to name a few. 
 
Shafie joins Leo Burnett with years of agency and post production field experience under his belt. Most recently with Ogilvy, he has also worked with Dentsu and BBH.
 
He spent seven years in VHQ (formerly known as The Yellow River Network) where he started as an assistant editor before moving on to become a flame artist and a post-production producer in the facilities department.
 
Shafie’s experience extend beyond the local markets to include work done for DHL, GSK, Kimberly Clark, Castrol, Yahoo, Singtel, IBM, DBS, Prudential, Phillips, Unilever in the global markets.
 
While at Ogilvy, he also cross-produced for sister agency Bates 141 where he handled Heineken and Sony works regionally and globally. In addition to film and digital camera work, Shafie also had plenty of exposure working with 2D animation, 3D animation and various special effects.
