KOSUMOSU brings the spirit of Cannes Lions to Spikes

SINGAPORE – MassiveMusic and Dentsu Aegis Network brings the spirit of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to Spikes Asia with their event named KOSUMOSU.

Kosumosu means “Cosmos” in Japanese. The party will be held at a former convent in Singapore where the domed roof will be transformed into a new age galaxy, with each attendee coming together to play a key part in the event’s solar system. Galactic converged cocktails created by famed mixologist Ethan Leong will be flowing all night.

The KOSUMOSU event is co-produced by MassiveMusic, famed by their annual party at Cannes Lions, with headline act 2manydjs. Brothers David and Stephen Dewaele are famous worldwide as both Soulwax and 2manydjs, completely revolutionizing the dance music landscape with their innovative mixture of artist and genres from all eras.

“We are delighted to partner with Dentsu Aegis Network in creating the KOSUMOSU party. They are a fantastic creative network, and the KOSUMOSU party will bring something unique and special to the Spikes Festival. People have enjoyed the MassiveMusic parties in Cannes for many years. With Dentsu Aegis Network we aim to create a similar success in Singapore for years to come,” said Diederik van Middelkoop, Creative/Managing Director for MassiveMusic Shanghai.

“Spikes is a major industry event in our region, and we wanted to contribute by lightening the mood and bringing something different that will be a lot of fun. We are in our first year as Dentsu Aegis Network and this seemed like a good time and place to celebrate,” Nick Waters, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network Asia Pacific added.

“This party will be a celebration of convergence and talent. Our efforts around Spikes are all centered about bringing people together: high potentials, talent, movers and shakers. In this industry in general, and at Dentsu Aegis Network in particular, we understand that talent thrives when it collides with other talent. This philosophy culminates in KOSUMOSU,” said Dick van Motman, CEO Dentsu Aegis Network Southeast Asia
