He began his career as a graduate trainee at DMB&B; working on COI, P&G and Budweiser. In 1992 he joined Lowe Howard-Spink for the first time on Tesco and Coca-Cola. His first taste of the creative start-up was in 1995 when he became a Board Account Director at Simons Palmer (now TBWA) on the Sony PlayStation launch.

Wall is certainly best known as one of the five founders of Fallon in London. It was during the years between establishing the agency in 1998 and when he left, that Fallon rose to be one of the most highly regarded and awarded creative agencies in the world. The agency produced world famous work for Sony Bravia, Skoda and Cadbury amongst many others. It was during his time in charge that a healthy (sometimes) rivalry grew between Fallon and Mother.

Having stepped outside the industry for a short period following the sale of Fallon Worldwide to Publicis, Wall returned to London in 2009 as Global CEO of Lowe and Partners.
