Publicis JimenezBasic expands account servicing team with five new hires

MANILA, AUGUST 23, 2013 – To compliment the recent expansion of its creative house, Publicis JimenezBasic hired five new account managers – Paolo Banaga, Ira Casas, Tere Gutierrez, MJ Peña and Julia Arsenal, to keep up with its growing portfolio of brands and clients. 
 
Banaga has previously worked with Ogilvy & Mather, where he worked with major Unilever brands like Vaseline, Dove, Pond’s and Eskinol for over seven months prior to moving to PJB. 
 
Casas joins fresh off a stint in Lowe. She previously handled brands under Unilever, Unilab and Century Pacific Group to name a few. She has also spent time in an immersion program with the International Academy of Film and Television in Cebu and worked in post-production for Roadrunner.
 
Before PJB, Gutierrez served as project manager and account manager for Dyll. She worked on accounts such as Jollibee Corporate, Rexona and DKT Philippines.
 
Peña hails from Ace Saatchi & Saatchi where she handled big clients like Toyota, Cebuana Lhuiller and the SM Group among others. She also spent time in 88 Storey as a production assistant in various campaigns for Smart and Fonterra.
 
Arsenal joins PJB fresh out of De La Salle University. Despite being the youngest of the department, she is no stranger to advertising. She brings with her a wealth of experience having spent many hours as an intern in Lowe, Bates and Ogilvy & Mather.
 
Chinky Veloso, executive officer for business development, describes the recent hires as "Fresh faces, fresh blood to keep the PJB account servicing team all fired up and ready for more action in 2013 and onwards."
