Lynn Chow appointed as Senior Vice President, Global Account Director for GSK

SINGAPORE – Lynn Chow has been appointed as senior vice president, global account director to head up the GSK team in Grey. She will be reporting to Nirvik Singh, Chairman and CEO of Grey Group Asia Pacific and Alina Kessel, Executive Vice President, Managing Director Global Client Service for GSK, the agency said in a press release.

With over 18 years of experience in global advertising, Chow joins Grey most recently from DraftFCB Toronto, where she was highly-recognized as a successful leader and setting the “gold standard” in integrated marketing communications and organic growth within the global network.

“Lynn’s joining is part of the overall strategy of building a really strong GSK team. We have very ambitious plans for GSK and I am looking forward to working with Lynn to realise that ambition,” said Nirvik Singh.

“Lynn’s international background, success in growing global brands, and first-hand knowledge of Asia Pacific, makes her well suited to lead our newly formed global GSK team in Grey Group Singapore,” Alina Kessel said.

“It’s a privilege for me to lead the team. I am also looking forward to working with incredibly talented people who have a great vision for Grey,” Chow said.
Chow has led many successful business-building campaigns that have been awarded for insight, creative excellence and integrated marketing communications. In 2011, her campaign on Kraft won “North American ARF David Ogilvy Award” in the packaged goods category for excellence in research and insight and in 2010, her work on Catalyst Canada was selected as the “Best creative for Draftfcb Canada.” Under her leadership, the Draftfcb Canadian team has been consecutively awarded the Draftfcb SC Johnson Global Network “Big Idea Challenge” Awards from 2003 to 2009 for excellence in integrated marketing communications.

Chow was a professor for Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of Toronto, Canada, and was the Chair of the Advertising Program Advisory Board for Centennial College in Toronto. She has also been mentoring up-and-coming advertising, marketing and digital professionals for over eight years.
