Ogilvy Singapore’s top creative duo moves to Publicis

SINGAPORE – Two top creatives from Ogilvy, Troy Lim and Jon Loke are joining Publicis Singapore as Executive Creative Directors.

Lim and Loke have been partners in Ogilvy Singapore, handling major accounts like BMW, KFC, Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth, National Environment Agency, Singapore Sports Council, Health Promotion Board, Kimberly-Clark, and GlaxoSmithKline.

The creative duo are behind Singapore’s successful anti-smoking campaign, “I QUIT” that won Effies and IPA Gold for Health Promotion Board, the highest marketing effectiveness accolade ever awarded to a brand in Singapore. Apart from this, they have also been collectively awarded 30 Cannes Lions. Just recently, they scooped a D&AD Yellow Pencil for their campaign for SingTel.

Named as one of Top 10 Young Guns of the year, Loke was previously a Creative Director and Group Head of Art at O&M Singapore with a decade of experience in advertising and design from working with Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi and Mother London.

Lim, on the other hand, has worked for O&M Singapore for 9 years, having won Gold metals at Cannes, The One Show, and Clios. He’s also a former Gold Bullet winner at Young Guns.

Both ECDs have had extensive judging experiencing across festivals such as Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, D&AD and the Singapore Creative Circle Awards.

Apart from the appointment of the creative duo, Chief Creative Officer for South East Asia Ajay Thrivikraman has been promoted to Global Client Chief Creative Officer for Asia Pacific.
