‘Home of the Whopper’ welcomes Wunderman Korea as creative AOR

ASIA – PACIFIC – SOUTH KOREA, FEBRUARY 6, 2013 – Wunderman Korea has been appointed as the agency of record for Burger King, the second largest fast food hamburger chain in the world. Wunderman Korea will be responsible for driving the fast food chain’s off and online consumer engagements, with strong focus on digital and social channels.

 
Pitching against four agencies for the creative business of the "Home of the Whopper", Wunderman Korea ultimately stood out with a solid integrated marketing solution that effectively addressed the challenges of the brand.  Wunderman Korea takes over the account from incumbent agency Oricom, effective immediately. 
 
Moon Kyoung Lee, chief marketing officer of Burger King, said: “Wunderman Korea has brought not only a fresh new look to the brand but also exciting ways to get consumers engaged. We look forward to working with Wunderman Korea to execute successful campaigns in the Korean market.”
