Philippine ads make the books

GLOBAL, APRIL 2011 -Five Philippine ads received D&AD inbook citations: Pharex ‘Opera’ from DM9 Jayme Syfu in Press, ‘My Ride’ Vespa from Ace Saatchi and Saatchi in Writing for Direct, FedEx ‘Changing World’ from BBDO Guerrero in Integrated Digital Campaigns, and ‘Cook’ and ‘Night Watchman’ for Coca-Cola Export Corporation by Hemisphere Leo Burnett Philippines.

BBDO Guerrero’s "Changing World" was also shortlisted in Digital Design, as was TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno’s "Christmas Card" in Graphic Design.

The annual D&AD Awards are recognized throughout the world, considered as the most prestigious and toughest show to win, setting the standard for creative excellence.

In total Asia scored 10 Nominations and 72 In Book acceptances. Single nominations went to McCann Erickson Malaysia, Case Real Tokyo, Dentsu Tokyo, Mudra Communications India, Ogilvy & Mather India, Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, Hakuhodo and Yuusuke Karasawa Architects Tokyo. The D&AD Awards Night will take place on Thursday 16 June, in The Artillery Garden at the HAC in London.
