R/GA Singapore strengthens executive team with Lian-Shi Ho and Matt Gehrmann

SINGAPORE – Lian-Shi Ho and Matt Gehrmann have joined the R/GA Singapore’s growing senior management team as MD client services and executive production director respectively. Ho joins from BBDO/Proximity Singapore and will be responsible for developing long-term client relationships in the region and shaping the overall strategic vision for the office. As executive production director, Gehrmann will be responsible for delivery across all Singapore clients and joins from FROG Shanghai, where he held the role of director. Both Ho and Gehrmann will report into Jim Moffatt, EVP managing director Asia Pacific R/GA.

A veteran in digital marketing, Ho has worked both client and agency-side in global, regional and local digital marketing roles.  Ho joins R/GA from BBDO/Proximity Singapore where she held the role of Head of Digital. Ho was the client partner and program leader for P&G’s content and CRM marketing platform “EverydayMe” in 5 Asian markets. She has led large-scale digital development projects, for clients in Asia Pacific, Middle-East, Central  Europe and Africa. Ho was also a trainer for digital education in the agency. During her tenure, BBDO/Proximity Singapore won Bronze and Silver awards in Marketing Magazine’s Digital Agency of the Year for 2 years running.
 
Before BBDO/Proximity, Ho spent eight years at Nokia working on a plethora of roles in B2C, B2B marketing, social, PR and digital strategy roles in Asia and Europe. In Helsinki, she was part of a team that concepted and evangelized a game-changing global digital marketing strategy for the brand. In London, she helped envisage and executed one of the world’s first digitally and socially connected live concerts in London for Rihanna’s new album “Russian Roulette”. This event later won the “Best Live Event” award at London’s Digital Music Awards 2010, beating Glastonbury Music Festival.

An industry veteran with over 15 years’ experience, Gehrmann is a collaborative leader with documented history of inspiring diverse teams to achieve results. He has broad-based expertise in business development, account management, business planning, market analysis and streamlining operations into cost effective environments. Prior to joining R/GA, Matt worked at FROG, Shanghai as Director where he managed program delivery across all projects in the Asia Pacific region, including India, Africa, Southeast Asia, Japan, China and Australia.
 
Gehrmann’s financial services background also includes experience at Goldman Sachs as Vice President, providing strategic business analysis support and at Barclays as principal project manager, where he led a team of ten developers supporting Global Active Equities.
