David Patton, the new Global President of Y&R, said: “This is a small but important step change for the agency. For Y&R to succeed at a global level it’s imperative that we have a successful London agency that has a strong global profile and is tightly integrated into our network.”
Jon Sharpe, CEO Y&R London, said: “In the UK, we are increasingly a hub for pan-European and global relationships.` Becoming Y&R London is the natural response to this demand and will allow our clients, people and partners to take full advantage of the Y&R network.”
Mark Roalfe, Chairman of Y&R London who is the last initial still remaining at the agency, said “Rainey Kelly has had many different chapters over the years, this is the next one. It’s an exciting time for both us and the Y&R network. We have a new management line up driving the agency forward. The name may have changed but the ambition stays the same, it’s always about providing the best possible solutions for our clients.”
