Besieged with questions regarding conditions in Baguio City, post-Typhoon Pepeng, and whether it can successfully host the AdCon this November, the Philippine Advertising Congress executive committee has been forced to weigh its options.
In response to inquiries, Margot Torres, overall chairman of the 21st Philippine Ad Congress, released the following statement today:
"Given recent typhoons, the 21st PAC committee is currently evaluating alternative venues to ensure safety of delegates, sponsors and exhibitors not just at the Ad Congress but the roads they need to take to travel to the site.
"There is no final decision yet. We are still evaluating our options when it comes to venue.
"Ad Congress dates of November 18 to 21 have not changed."
