LongXi Awards 2010 judges announced

ASIA-PACIFIC, SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 – Dedicated to promote Chinese language advertising creative ideas around the world, the LongXi Awards has confirmed its 2010 awards judging panel with Yang Yeo, Chief Creative Officer of JWT Shanghai, as Judging President. The panel is composed of Natalie Lam from OgilvyOne Shanghai, Alfred Wong from Leo Burnett Hong Kong, Jody Xiong from DDB Shanghai, Arthur Louis Tsang from BBDO Guangzhou, Jacqueline Ye from Publicis Shanghai, Endy Fung from Razor Fish Hong Kong, Hei Yiyang from SenseTeam Shenzheng and Mark Chang from Dentsu Taiwan.  
 
Outstanding creative works from every Chinese speaking markets including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur have been submitted for competition under the LongXi Awards categories of Film, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Design and Catch (Online, New Media, Integration of communications, and Use of Innovative ideas). 
 
Currently, the jury is doing the first round judging separately in their respective cities.  They will meet in the ancient city of Pingyao in thethird week of September to do the final round of judging. 
 
As 2010 is the year of the Tiger, an auspicious occasion for LongXi, the ancient city Pingyao, symbol of Chinese traditional culture, has been selected for the judging location. 
 
The final round of judging will be from September 23  to 27, 2010, coinciding with the traditional Moon Festival. The final result of 2010 LongXi International Chinese Language Advertising Awards will be revealed online in first week of October.
 
LongXi International Chinese Language Advertising Awards is the only Chinese language advertising creative awards recognized by two of the most authoritative global annual creative rankings: the Gunn Report and The Big WON. The winners will also get extra points in the annual creative ranking tabulated by the Longyin Review.
