Campaign Spotlight: McDonald’s New Campaign for Mother’s Day Celebrates Families with Single Moms and Redefines What Makes a Family Complete

MANILA, Philippines – #LoveKitaMa. Being a mother may seem so daunting, a great responsibility with no set rules and guidelines, more so if you are faced to do it alone. They take on the role despite many unknowns, always striving to be the best mother they can be. And while they constantly work towards achieving the standards they have set for themselves, it’s their simple acts of love that matter the most for their children.

McDonald’s latest Mother’s Day video is a poignant glimpse into the depth of a mother’s love. The video shows us a mom and a child, sharing their favorite McDonald’s Fries, all the while surrounded by other families with both parents present. The child starts to identify her and her mom with their fries, yet stops to wonder if something is missing. Her realization at the end gives a touching resolution to the film.
