MANILA, AUGUST 16, 2013 – Toyota Motor Philippines launched a week-long expo entitled ‘The World of Toyota Motor Show” at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, which opened last Saturday (August 10), running until the coming Sunday (August 18).
In celebration of TMP’s 25th anniversary, the event presents the past, present and future Toyota vehicles with a total of 36 models displayed – including five exotic Toyota vehicles, 14 classic models, 11 modified classic models, five SUVs and a race car.
Some models on display are Sports 800, a third-generation T40 Corona, a five-door Starlet, Century limousine, Toyota FCV-R ‘Fuel Cell Vehicle – Reality & Revolution’, Toyota 86 ‘hachi-rokus’ and more. Celebrities joining the expo include Rhian Ramos, Gwen Zamora, Aljur Abrenica Issa Litton, KC Montero, Fabio Ide, Glaida De Castro, Carla Humpries and Kris Bernal.

“It aims to show people the legacy of the Toyota QDR (Quality, Durability, Reliability). The event also showcased motorsport capabilities of Toyota vehicles such as the all-new Vios that will be used for the One Make Race event these coming months,” says Raffy Jabonete, marketing professional of Toyota Makati, Inc.
To further promote their brand in the Philippines, TMP started the ‘Fun to Drive’ theme. They released Toyota86 (2door coupe) and the all-new Vios that targets to capture wider market segment. On October, Toyota will release a new model FJ Cruiser.
