THE PHILIPPINES, APRIL 16, 2012: Grocery shoppers of the newest and biggest branch of Super 8 at Visayas Avenue, Quezon City were in for a visual treat as their Sunday morning shopping got an injection of fun through a flash fashion show by TBWASantiago Mangada Puno for Champion Detergent on March 18, 2012.
Models swaggered across the grocery aisles of Super 8 donned in Randy Ortiz’ latest Summer/Spring collection attuned to the beat of Adam Lavine’s ‘Moves like Jagger’. If that wasn’t surprising enough, the models attacked each other with ketchup, mustard, cheese and mayonnaise squirted from plastic bottles after few catwalk sashays.
TBWA wanted to communicate that Champion protects your precious clothes from stubborn stains and it did just that through the tailor-made plastic clothes that the models were wearing over Randy Ortiz’ collection shielding it from the wrath of the condiments. The models ended the show by removing the condiments from their plastic clothes using Champion bar soaps.
