Martin Patmore appointed G2 Asia Pacific CEO

ASIA PACIFIC – JULY 26, 2011 – Joe Celia, chairman and CEO of G2 Worldwide, the WPP marketing services agency network, has announced the appointment of Grey/G2 Korea CEO Martin Patmore as Regional CEO of G2 Asia Pacific. Effective immediately, Patmore assumes responsibilities for the development and management of G2’s Asia Pacific business units across nine countries and 16 cities. Additionally, Patmore has been appointed to the G2 Global Management Board. He will report directly to Celia.
 
“The G2 network in Asia Pacific will need strong and focused leadership in order to realize our ambitions for the region,” said Celia. “Martin’s leadership and vision will play a vital role in helping us to achieve our goals.”
 
“Asia Pacific is a critical region for G2 and we have a great opportunity to expand our global footprint,” said Patmore. “I look forward to working with the regional management teams to continue building out G2’s unparalleled activation offering in the region.”
 
Prior to this appointment, Patmore was responsible for several years of double-digit revenue growth and many notable new business wins at CEO of Grey/G2 Korea, including Heineken, ING and Novartis. Scott Rhee has assumed the role as CEO of Grey/G2 Korea, reporting to Patmore for G2 and Nirvik Singh for Grey Group Asia Pacific.
 
Patmore began his career at Brann Direct in the United Kingdom, working with Ford Motors Europe. He has spent the past 20 years in Asia, working at Euro RSCG in Hong Kong and TBWA in Japan. He first joined Grey Group Korea in 2003.
