MANILA, PHILIPPINES – DDB MNL has brought on board seasoned advertising professionals Lowell San Jose and Miel Soneja to further strengthen the agency’s creative leadership.
San Jose and Soneja join DDB MNL as Creative Directors, leading teams that handle brands such as Gatorade, Lipton Soda, SM Mall of Asia, Isuzu, PLDT Home, and more. Tasked with further elevating creative thinking and craft across their teams, they bring a shared commitment to delivering impactful, high-quality work.
Both will report to DDB MNL Executive Creative Director Bia Fernandez, supporting the agency’s focus on impactful work that delivers real business growth.

An art-based creative, San Jose brings with him 18 years of experience in advertising, working on global brands such as a leading consumer goods corporation and a well-loved online shopping site, as well as local icons that include a fast food giant and a large pharmaceutical company. Adept in creative strategy and storytelling, San Jose’s work has been recognized in Campaign Brief Asia’s The Work, AdStars, Kidlat, and Boomerang, among other awards.
Also an art-based creative, Soneja brings to DDB MNL 14 years of turning big ideas into real work that wins both metal and business – whether it’s making teeth cleaner or online shopping carts fuller. As one of DDB MNL’s Creative Directors, she hopes to create campaigns that work, that win, and that help make the world a better place through creativity.
