SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – Droga5 São Paulo has unveiled a strategic restructuring of its Culture & Communications department, uniting the Communications, Culture and People functions under one fully dedicated team. The new integrated unit will focus on fostering a strong internal culture while amplifying the agency’s institutional voice and presence in the market.
Under this structure, the team will oversee the development and execution of internal projects, communication channels and events, alongside managing external communications, including social media and institutional public relations. The move reflects Droga5 São Paulo’s ongoing commitment to championing creativity, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), while contributing to industry transformation.

The department will be led by Johana Quintana, Head of People, Culture & Communications, an experienced leader in organizational culture, DE&I and brand communication, with a track record in agencies and consultancies such as Box1824 and Sharp Cultural Intelligence. Joining her is Bárbara Lima, Director of Culture & Communications, who brings over a decade of expertise in corporate reputation, media relations, and strategic brand management. Together, they aim to bridge internal culture and external reputation with authenticity and purpose.
“Restructuring this area is a strategic decision, but also a deeply human one. It is about recognizing that caring for people is what sustains any idea that aspires to be truly creative. When culture and communication meet with authenticity, they stop being just rhetoric and become direction, both inside the agency and out in the market,” says Johana Quintana.
The cross-functional team also includes Raiany Fernandes (Culture & Communications Manager), Gabriele Oliveira(People & Culture Analyst), Lucas Schuch (Culture & Communications Analyst), Luma Araujo (PR Analyst), and Aline dos Santos (Talent Recruiter). This collective ensures cohesion and consistency in delivering initiatives that resonate both within and beyond the agency.
