MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Google today announced the appointment of Prep Palacios as the new Country Manager for the Philippines. In this role, Palacios will steer Google’s strategy and advertising portfolio in the country, leading efforts to help businesses and communities seize new opportunities in the era of AI and video commerce.
Palacios is reporting to Sapna Chadha, Vice President for Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier at Google.

As Country Manager, Palacios will focus on empowering organizations to navigate the transformative AI landscape by leveraging the full potential of Google Search and YouTube to drive growth, innovation, and meaningful impact.

With more than two decades of leadership in the technology sector, Palacios brings deep experience across sales, business strategy, and digital transformation. At Google, she has spent the last eight years scaling the advertising business and enabling customers to grow with digital solutions. Prior to Google, she spent twelve years at Microsoft leading channels, distribution, and the small and medium-sized business segment, and also held consulting roles at Oracle, Ernst & Young, and Siemens.
Today, Google already partners with some of the biggest brands and local businesses—from CocoTea, McDonald’s, ChowKing to UnionBank among many others—to drive business growth. With Palacios’ leadership, Google aims to deepen its impact by unlocking even more opportunities for businesses of all sizes.
Palacios holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Computer Applications) from De La Salle University. She is based in Manila and is a proud mother of three.
