DELHI, INDIA – Havas Play India, the sports, entertainment, and content arm of Havas Media Network India, has announced a strategic leadership transition aimed at accelerating growth, enhancing operational agility, and delivering culturally resonant brand experiences at scale.
As part of this transformation, Uday Mohan will now oversee both Havas Media India and Havas Play India in his capacity as Chief Operating Officer, fostering greater alignment across media, content, and experiential marketing. Prachi Narayan has been promoted to Managing Partner, Havas Play India, reporting directly to Mohan. In her expanded role, Narayan will lead the agency’s integrated offering across its four core verticals content, culture, commerce and creativity to build meaningful and impactful brand engagement.
The verticals will be led by:
- Entertainment – Spearheaded by Abhay Kumar, AVP, Head of Entertainment, this division enables brands to integrate seamlessly into film, OTT, music and popular culture while developing original IPs that connect deeply with audiences.
- Content – Led by Niharika Goswami, AVP, Head of Content, this team crafts influence-led, culturally relevant storytelling tailored for digital and social platforms.
- Sports – Headed by Uditvanu Das, AVP, Head of Sports, delivering sports marketing, sponsorship, and fan engagement strategies.
- Social – Directed by Geetika Thakur, Senior VP, Head of Social, focusing on culture-first, community-driven narratives across digital platforms.
