OMD appoints Ellen Griffin as Global Chief Operating Officer to accelerate client transformation at scale

NEW YORK, USA – Omnicom Media Group’s (OMG) flagship agency OMD has named Ellen Griffin as President and Global Chief Operating Officer, a newly created role designed to spearhead the development and deployment of customized, future ready operating models across its worldwide client portfolio.

The appointment underscores OMD’s commitment to its brand promise, “We create what’s next,” and reflects the agency’s focus on enabling brands to thrive in an increasingly complex marketing landscape.

Griffin, formerly OMD’s Global Chief Client Solutions Officer, will leverage the collective capabilities of OMG and the broader Omnicom network spanning media, data, CRM, commerce, content and creativity to help clients navigate transformation and drive marketing led growth.

Since joining OMD in 2018 as Global Innovation Director, Griffin has been at the forefront of shaping the agency’s model, talent and capabilities. As Global Chief Client Solutions Officer, she played a pivotal role in designing bespoke client solutions powered by Omni – Omnicom’s global marketing intelligence platform, contributing to more than $2.5 billion in net new business wins.

Her appointment is effective immediately, reporting directly to Manas.  

Her appointment follows a string of global accolades for OMD: the agency was recently named #1 media agency globally in the COMvergence Global & Regional Billings report, with $23.6B in worldwide billings, and earned Media Network of the Year honors at the 2025 Cannes Lions—its third win in four years, and second in a row.
