Aside from conveying the product’s "Swiss-ness", Herrera’s distinctive design of Bügel Bräu beer from Heineken highlighted the source of natural ingredients used in making the brew. As part of the bottle structure, key images are embossed around the bottle, such as Mount Pilatus over the shoulder, the Eichhof brewery logo on the opposite sides of the body, Swiss crosses of varied sizes randomly dispersed around the bottom to represent freshness and to simulate effervescence.

He studied in PWU Manila and has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, major in Advertising. He previously worked for several international network agencies in the U.S.A. and Switzerland.

With more than 13,000 entries in its disciplines product design, communication design and design concept, the red dot design award is the world’s leading and largest design competition. Since 1955, the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen has been selecting examples of excellent design quality and giving them official recognition in an exhibition.
