BRUSSELS, BELGIUM — Proximus Global, the international telecom and ICT powerhouse formed earlier this year through the unification of BICS, Telesign, and Route Mobile, has announced the appointment of Seckin Arikan as Chief Executive Officer. Arikan will assume the role on November 1, 2025, reporting directly to Stijn Bijnens, CEO of Proximus Group.
Arikan, a seasoned global ICT executive, brings over 25 years of leadership experience in telecoms and enterprise transformation. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Vonage, he oversees strategy, M&A, technology, AI, and IT – accelerating operational efficiency while scaling UCaaS, CCaaS, CPaaS, and Network API offerings. His career also spans senior executive roles at Ericsson, including Head of Customer Unit T-Mobile U.S. and Head of Global Customer Unit MTN, where he successfully delivered high-performing results across diverse markets.
Holding a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and executive management training from leading European institutions, Arikan is widely recognized for his ability to align technology innovation with commercial growth.
